With more than 30 years of experience in internationalc and ocean racing, Alfredo Rovere has great ambitions in the first edition of the SSL Gold Cup. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the athlete has lived in Brazil since 2000 and obtained naturalization six years ago. In addition to dedicating himself to sailing, Rovere holds a degree in Business Administration, from IBMEC-RJ, and in Yacht Design, from the Westlawn Institute of Marine Technology, in the United States. The bowman will carry the number 1 on the back of his uniform.
